Each month we have a Lap-Band seminar that's open to the public at no cost. At this seminar, Dr. Patel will review the affects of morbid obesity in America and they will also show you how surgery for weight loss can help you reach a healthy weight and maintain it. You will receive all the information necessary to begin the testing process, and our bariatric coordinator will also be available on site if you need help getting started. All patients are required to attend support group at least 4 times per year after gastric band placement. You may be turned down for an adjustment to your band if you fail to attend support group. Support groups are held each 3rd Monday of the month. Call 407-2333 if you want to attend.
